The extended summary of the Supervisory meeting is as follows:
The suggestions given by Jim are:
WORK PLAN
Work package 1: Describe in detail about definitions, framework for Euler diagrams and check Gem’s comments for 1(b). Include Research Plan, RMM Modules and short term goals.
Work package 2: Describe in detail about the algorithms and software implementation.
Work package 3(a) To design the study including ethical review/approval.
3(b) To carry out the empirical study.
3 (c) To analyze the results obtained and reflect on their implications.
Work package 4: Reflective stage of the work – Literature Review, Thesis writing, community engagement, proofreading for the supervisors.
RISK MANAGEMENT

(a) Formal theoretical work takes much longer than anticipated. Supervisors need to monitor the progress of the framework.
(b) Software implementation runs into technical problems such as difficulty in implementing the algorithm in a computationally effective way (It is an impact risk). It has low likelihood occurrence because of the work is building on the existing techniques.
(c) Personal issues to be considered which might stop the progress of the work (eg: illness)

Action Plans – Mithileysh

Action Plans – Supervisors

  • Once the new version of the research plan is emailed, Please read the sections modified and give me the feedback.
